Return Policy

Our goal is to ensure that you always select the right product for your needs. However, you may occasionally receive a product that doesn't work for you. If you need to return an item, please review our Return Policy below and call or email us to request a return.

  • Items may be returned with a Return Authorization (R.A.) number issued by Southern Mobility, within 21 calendar days of receipt. They must be returned at your expense in their original packaging and meet the following conditions:
  • Product must be returned in its original packaging.
  • A R.A.# must be requested within 21 calendar days of delivery of the product.
  • Once an RA has been issued, products must be returned and received at our Raleigh NC warehouse within 14 calendar days of RA date.
  • A 20% restocking fee is applied for acceptable returns.
  • White Glove delivery charges are not refundable.
  • All returned products require a Return Authorization number. Returns received without this number or beyond the dates listed above will not be credited. You can email us at scott@southernmobilityonline.com to request an RA number. Please include your order number, name and the item number you are returning. Or you may call 1-800-681-8831.

Return Shipping

Unless Southern Mobility was at error, return shipping/ freight is your responsibility. We highly recommend insuring larger items for their retail value to protect against shipping damage.

Please be sure to carefully follow all return-shipping instructions that are included with your Return Authorization number. Southern Mobility is not responsible for shipping damages or shipping delays on returns.

Cancelled Orders

Orders cancelled after the item has shipped are subject to all standard return policies. You must accept delivery, obtain an RA Number and ship the item back to the correct address. If delivery of an item is refused, return shipping costs are deducted from the issued credit and a 25% restocking fee (minimum $25) will apply. Shipping costs will not be credited if delivery is refused.

Credits

Once your return is received, we will issue a credit to the credit card used for the purchase. Please allow up to 4 weeks for your credit to be processed. If your item is defective or was damaged in shipping, please call us or email us at the email and phone number above. We will arrange for the item to be repaired or replaced promptly.

Delivery Options

Free Delivery is available on all items unless marked otherwise. Most items will ship by normal (Standard ground delivery) UPS, FEDEX or similar ground companies. This is at the standard ground delivery rate (without guaranteed date of delivery or urgency). Priority or guaranteed shipping is available: ask for quote.

Shipments will normally go out within 1 to 2 days of your order date. Estimates for delivery time are available based on product, type of shipping, time of day ordered and delivery location. Items will be delivered to your address (porch, side door, etc) with standard delivery. Delivery confirmation by the delivery company sets the delivery date. A receipt signature will be requested but is not required to complete a formal delivery date. Estimates of delivery dates are not guaranteed for standard shipping.

If item is oversized/ too heavy for standard shipping, commercial carrier will deliver. Extra delivery costs will be required. Delivery will be to your curbside and may require a call before delivery or an appointment to be scheduled. Missed appointments will add $50 for extra trip charge. White glove delivery available. White Glove Delivery Service

This service allows you to have your product, hand delivered, already fully set up and tested, by one of our trained mobility technicians. They will schedule an appointment time, convenient for you, to bring out your product. A brief overview and training of the product will be provided. Rates start at $125-$150 for most items. Higher rates for larger, heavier, more complicated items or if in remote areas. Missed appointments by consumer will add a second trip charge of $50. Call for quote.

Damages

Please inspect the carton for any signs of damage. If obvious damage is seen to the carton, refuse the shipment and call us immediately. If box was delivered damaged when no one was there, please call or email us within 24 hours to report.

If damages occurred to the product without external signs of damage to the carton, please call us within 72 hours of receipt of the package. Damages found after that time cannot be credited.

Best Price Guarantee

If you find a lower advertised price for the same exact product, we will match the difference in a refund back on your credit/ debit card (if after the sale) or a price reduction (before the sale) to you on your purchase for that same item. The item must be the same exact manufacturer, product, options, only brand new units, within 30 calendar days of purchase. Close outs, discontinued models, pre-owned, refurbished, returned items, or older versions of the same model do not apply. Other rebates, taxes, discounts or non related adjustments to price will not be eligible. We must be able find/ confirm the competitive price online to be eligible for price match. Allow 30 days to process.
